TIAN XIE

 TIAN XIE -- a tenor singer , Prof. and Directer of the Vocal and Opera Department of the Central Conservatory Of Music (CCOM) in Beijing（http://www.ccom.edu.cn) . 

In 2006 , he obtained his master’s degree of opera performance in CCOM , studying under renowned educator Prof. Shuzhen Guo , after that he remained work in the Opera center of CCOM as an opera actor . 2011 he went to Italy studied at Italy Rome“Santa Cecilia”conservatory of Music , following the legendary Italian tenor master Angelo Loforese、master Gianfranca Ostini and artistic director master Leonardo Marzagaria .

Since 2004 , XIE has attained outstanding results in various international competitions , including winning the Gold Prize in the April Spring International Art Festival in North Korea . The Special Prize in the Tchaikovsky International Vocal competition in 2007 , and 1st Prize in the 4th China International Vocal Competition in 2008 , 1st prize in the 9th National Vocal Competition of China in 2010 .

   Xie has Staged countless splendid performances in hundreds of concerts . As a opera singer , his first performance was acting Alfredo in Verdi’s opera ‘La Traviata’ in September 2005 , after that include acting Tamino in Mozart’s opera ‘Magic Flute’ , acting Pinkerton in Puccini’s opera ‘Madama Butterfly’, acting Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s opera ‘Eugene Onegin’, acting Manrico in Verdi’s opera ‘Il travatore’ , acting Don Jose in Bizet’s opera ‘Carmen’ , acting Radames in Verdi's opera ‘Aida’ . He also performed , includinging Verdi’s ‘Requiem’ , Beethoven’s religious work ‘Missa Solemnis’ , Handel’s religious work ‘Missiah’ , Mendelssohn’s Symphony No.2’Lobgesang’ , and Beethoven's Symphony No.9 etc .
