Marc MAZY

Marc MAZY is a distinguished artistic agent and the General Manager of Brussels International Artists Management Madrid. He has a law degree and has been singing in lots of choirs.

Professional Experience:

1.President of Chamber of Commerce of Belgium and Luxembourg in Spain (2023) - Marc has been elected President of the Chamber of Commerce of Belgium and Luxembourg in Spain  and the Dutch-Spanish business forum since January 2023.

2.BRUSSELS INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS MANAGEMENT (Since 1989) - Marc is the founder and general manager of Brussels International Artists Management, a position he has held since 1989. The agency specializes in the representation of opera singers and classical music artists internationally. The agency has been collaborating with nearly all the European opera houses, representing some famous artists such as Jonas Kaufmann, Teresa Berganza, Dietrich Henschel, Marlis Petersen, Franz Hawlata etc. in theatre such as Opera de Paris, Teatro Real Madrid, Liceu in Barcelona, La Monnaie in Brussels, Deutsche Oper Berlin etc… He is also a member of l’Association Européenne des Agents Artistiques (AEAA) and serves as a jury member in various international singing competitions.
During all these years, at the same time he was running his agency, he has been implicated in numerous important projects such as:

3.Co-Founder and Board Member of Festival Farinelli in Segovia, Spain (2022) - In 2022, he was co-founder and board member of the Festival Farinelli (website: Festival Farinelli) in Segovia, Spain.

4.OPERA MANAGERS ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONAL – OMAI (Wiesbaden, Germany 2020) - In 2020, he played a key role as co-founder and board member of  OMAI,  Opera Managers Association International  in Wiesbaden, Germany, representing more than 80 opera managers and agencies from all over the world.

5.FESTIVAL RUBENS (collaboration Fundación Carlos de Amberes, 2019) Madrid - Marc is a co-founder and artistic director of the Festival Rubens in collaboration with Fundación Carlos de Amberes, since 2019, held in Madrid.

6.BELGIAN BUSINESS CLUB (Madrid) - Since 2018, Marc has been a board member of the Belgian Business Club in Madrid.

7.JOINT VENTURE with Munich Artists Management Christian Lange (2009-2018) - Between 2009 and 2018, Marc engaged in a joint venture with Munich Artists Management, led by Christian Lange in Munich.

8.ORQUESTA AL AYRE ESPAÑOL (2002-2006) - Marc served as the General Manager of Orquesta Al Ayre Español from 2002 to 2006, earning the prestigious Spain National Music Prize in 2004 and recording numerous CD for the label Naïve

9.Philharmonic Society of NAMUR (BELGIUM, 1998-2002) - From 1998 to 2002, he founded, managed and artistically directed the Philharmonic Society of Namur in Belgium.

10.PROXIMUS S.A.- BELGACOM MOBILE (1998-2000) - In the late '90s, Marc worked as an extern consultant in the loyalty department of PROXIMUS S.A.- BELGACOM MOBILE, the major Mobile Phone company in Belgium.

11.HOTEL BEAUREGARD S.A. Namur, Belgium (1991-1996) - Between 1991 and 1996, he served as the Director of Hotel Beauregard S.A. in Namur, Belgium, and international sales manager of the DIAMANT HOTELS GROUP.

12. FESTIVAL DE L’ETE MOSAN, Belgium (May-September 1991) - Marc worked as the Administrative Director for the Festival de l’Eté Mosan in Belgium from May to September 1991.

13. POPPÉE A.S.B.L. (September 1989) - In September 1989, Marc founded and presided over POPPÉE A.S.B.L., an organization dedicated to organizing classical concerts.
