Mengzhe Wu is a violinist at the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra. Wu graduated from the Orchestral Instruments Department of the Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 2014. She was accepted by the University of Cincinnati in 2015, where she studied under Kurt Sassmannshaus and performed numerous concerts (both solo and as part of an ensemble). In 2016, Wu rose to principal second violinist of the Starling Chamber Orchestra; she joined the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and the symphony orchestra of UC College-Conservatory of Music as a violinist in the same year. In December 2017, Wu earned her Master’s degree and artist diploma. She joined the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra in April 2018.
